EAJA Executive Committee Meeting in Bujumbura Reinstates its Secretary General

The Executive Committee of Eastern Africa Journalists Association (EAJA) successfully held its meeting in Bujumbura, Burundi, on 8 November 2014 and reinstated Omar Faruk Osman as its elected Secretary General. After discussing a wide range of issues raised at its last meeting in January 2014 in Addis Ababa, the Executive Committee agreed by a large majority (5 votes for and 1 against) that Omar Faruk Osman be asked to resume to his post as Secretary General.
